My neighbor's sweet home

This should have been included in my Aubrey, Texas posts--maybe.

But, I really painted this for different reasons. We are new to the area and new dog owners. My neighbors bailed me out by looking after our puppy, Yao (more to come!)

I sketched this and gave it to them when I saw them at the Peanut Festival yesterday--as a thank you for making sure our puppy was okay. They really seemed to like it! And, I really like looking at their place!

Wow! I will look after your dog ANY time! This is absolutely charming!! I KNOW they were delighted! And your dog's name is Yao? Looking forward to the "more to come :-)"

I'm sure they did love it. It's terrific. With this economy you've found a way around the money issue. Paintings in exchange for work! The nice thing is it sounds like they weren't expecting this and got a beautiful surprise. They might be showing this to their friends who might want their houses painted.

I'm sure they loved it. I would be thrilled with one of these of my house.

You really do handle buildings wonderfully. I'm a bit envious of that : )

Sweet house and drawing -- love your fluid style with watercolors. Keep up the good work!

That little house has character. Even an old style front screen door! Looks like they keep it maintained, too. Nice job capturing all that.
