Nutcracker Mosaic

I got to see my very talented niece perform in the Nutcracker this weekend. Here is a little mosaic of some of the sketches I did in the very dark theater. I love doing this! Any tendencies toward perfectionism are down the drain! Please do click on the mosaic to see all the wonderful dancers from the incredible http://www.lakecitiesballet.org/

Oh this is fabulous. I love sketches like this. It isnt perfect but it tells the complete story. I do things like this. I never want to show anyone because some think I should be perfect in all drawings since I paint, but these are quick and fun and get a point across. One thing I will do from now on is color mine.
Thanks for sharing these. :))

Very nice Lisa. Did you do the coloring in the theater too? That's a lot of sketching but it came out really nice.

Wow Lisa. You did these in the DARK! I love them, especially the two ballerinas in pink on the left.

I will give this a whirl in the future. I like your ideas about how it combats perfectionism!

You must be so pleased - and your nieces must be thrilled!

Best,
Kim
